Relax and enjoy the soothing effects of a tub tea! These teas are made with a blend of skin-softening and calming herbs and botanicals, perfect for nourishing your skin and soul. Take a few minutes to relax and enjoy the benefits of a tub tea!

INGREDIENTS (makes 1 tub tea)

1 organza bag (can also use muslin, cheese cloth, or nylon)
String or yarn
1 Tablespoon Dried Rose Petals
1 Tablespoon Dried Chamomile
1 Tablespoon Dried Raspberry Leaves
1 Tablespoon Dried Comfrey
2 Tablespoons Ground Oatmeal

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Ground oatmeal to medium coarseness in coffee grinder or food processor. Measure and pour in bowl.
  2. Measure out all the flowers and herbs and add to bowl with oatmeal. Tablespoons should be normal, not be heaping.
  3. Stir mixture and scoop into organza bag.
  4. Close bag with drawstrings and tie a string through the loops long enough to hang from the hot water tap.
  5. Store in a paper bag as oatmeal can be a little messy, falling through the organza.
  6. To use: Hang bath tea bag from the hot water tap on the tub and allow the running water to flow through. After the tub is full, untie the bag from the tap and let it float around in the water. Sit back, relax and enjoy! Discard herbs in your compost and reuse the bag when finished.
Rose Petals- Nourishes, balances and rejuvenates skin. Especially great for damaged and mature skin.
Comfrey- Rejuvenates the skin and supports regeneration of skin tissue.
Chamomile-Cleansing, anti-inflammatory properties. Great for sensitive skin.
Raspberry Leaf-Calms irritated skin
Oatmeal- Soothes irritated skin
